UPDATE: The station has reopened.

An emergency incident at a busy train station near Glasgow has disrupted services.

ScotRail has said 999 crews are currently dealing with a situation at Westerton station.

Due to this, services won't be stopping at the station.

"Use Anniesland, Drumchapel or Bearsden as alternatives.

"We have secured one mini bus (McLays) at Anniesland departing at 30 minutes past the hour to Westerton.

"We have secured one full size bus (AMS) at Westerton from 10am to run to Anniesland."
