A public consultation is underway over plans for the St Enoch building in Glasgow city centre as more details have been unveiled about the proposal. 

Regent Property Group has announced a new deal that will bring the UK's first Radisson Hotel Group & Serviced Apartments at 90/96 Maxwell Street.

The site was once the home to Fury Murrys nightclub.

The brand-new upscale development is expected to offer a mix of standard, superior bedrooms, one-bed apartments and studio apartments in the signature Radisson style.

Plans also include luxury amenities such as a rooftop bar and lounge with panoramic views across the city, a restaurant, a gym, and meeting spaces.

Regent, a Glasgow-based family business, bought the building five years ago and have now launched a public consultation on the development proposals.

Jay Singh, director of Regent Property Glasgow, said: "We are delighted to launch this consultation and initial feedback has been incredibly positive about the site being redeveloped and the proposed hotel use."

Architects from HAUS are presently working on design ideas.

The intention is to keep the frontage of the site and develop a modern building that will form a key attraction for the prospective redevelopment of the St Enoch area.

Regent is expected to hold a second consultation in April, with a planning application slated for submission in the summer.
