A mother and son doggie duo are spending Mother's Day in Dogs Trust foster care as they search for a shared forever home.
The inseparable chihuahuas, eight-year-old Jewel and five-year-old Teddy, were recently taken in by Dogs Trust Glasgow, with their mutual affection being evident from the get-go.
Sandra Downie, manager at Dogs Trust Glasgow Rehoming Centre, said: "Jewel and Teddy might be small in stature, but they are big in personality.
"You don’t see one without the other, they stick to each other’s side no matter what. Teddy has never known a life without his mum so finding a home for them together is our absolute priority.
"They both like to play and enjoy their walks. Teddy can be a little more vocal than Jewel especially when he sees other dogs as he only has eyes for his mum. They have settled very quickly into foster care and enjoy nothing more than a snuggle on the sofa.
"When you met Jewel and Teddy it is impossible not to fall for their chihuahua charms, so we hope it won’t be long before they can share their love with their new family.”
The bonded pair are fond of company and require a home where they can be gradually accustomed to alone time.
They need a secure garden for their energetic playtimes.
