A man has been hit by a van in the city's Southside prompting a 999 response.
The man is now in the care of medics after he was taken to hospital following the crash in Bridge Street in the Laurieston area of the Gorbals at 4.20pm.
The road, which links the city centre to the Southside, has been reduced to one lane at Carlton Place and drivers are advised to approach with caution.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.20pm on Friday, March 8, 2024, police were called to the Bridge Street area of Glasgow, following a report of a crash involving a van and a male pedestrian.
"The man was taken to hospital for treatment.”
