UPDATE: Police confirmed around 3pm that Desmond Price has been found.
Police are investigating the disappearance of a man from Airdrie.
Desmond Price, 64, was last seen at around 6.50am this morning in Centenary Gardens.
Officers believe he is on foot and likely did not travel far.
He is described as white, of heavy build, and around 5ft 6ins tall.
He is bald and was last seen wearing glasses, a French cap, a black shirt and jacket, jeans and red boots.

Sergeant Liam Bryson from Coatbridge Police Station said: “We have officers in the area carrying out enquiries and would ask anyone who has seen Desmond to report any sightings to us.
“Our concerns are growing for his welfare and I’d ask anyone who has seen him, or a man matching his description, to report this to police as soon as possible.”
Those with information should contact Police Scotland via 101 and quote incident number 0686 of March 9, 2024.
