Police have provided an update after a man was allegedly 'stabbed' in Glasgow.
The incident took place on Maryhill Road in the north of the city on Wednesday, February 28, shortly after 3pm.
During the ordeal, multiple police vehicles and ambulances were spotted on the street.
The force revealed that they had been called to a report of a man being "stabbed".
Following that, a 41-year-old was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Now, officers have said a 45-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman have been arrested and charged following the "serious assault".
The pair appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, March 4.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A 45-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman have been arrested and charged following a serious assault on Maryhill Road, Glasgow, at around 3.10pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
“They appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, March 4, 2024.
"A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
