Police have provided an update after a shocking attack at a busy train station near Glasgow.
The incident took place at Westerton railway station in Bearsden on Saturday, March 2, shortly after 1am.
During the altercation, a man was 'assaulted' by two men, police say.
The man, who is in his 40s, received multiple lacerations which required medical treatment but were not thought to be life-changing or threatening.
We previously reported cops launched an appeal for witnesses after the attack as they hunted for the suspects.
Both the culprits are described as white, in their teens to early twenties, one wore a black tracksuit, and the other wore a North Face grey tracksuit.
Now, the British Transport Police have revealed the investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
A spokesperson for BTP previously said: "Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 78 of March 2.
"Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
