Glasgow train services are facing disruption amid an issue.

ScotRail has said services from Glasgow Central to Edinburgh are currently running at a reduced speed.

The rail firm has said it is due to flooding at Shotts.

Services will run at a reduced speed until the water level drops to a more suitable level, ScotRail has said.

A spokesperson for the travel company said: "We have had reports of flooding at Shotts.

"For safety reasons, trains from Glasgow Central towards Edinburgh will run at a reduced speed until the water level drops to a more suitable level."
