A resident has issued a warning following a spate of thefts from cars in Glasgow.

Police say two motors were broken into on Onslow Road in the city's East End on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16.

Following the incident, a concerned local took to social media to make others aware.

In a post, they said: "Just wanted to make people aware in the area that I have had a break-in and attempted theft of my car in Dennistoun on Friday night/early hours of Saturday morning.

"Appears to have been professionals as no significant damage was caused gaining entry to the vehicle and no alarms went off.

"Be vigilant."

Now, cops have launched an investigation into the break-ins.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We are carrying out enquiries after break-ins to two vehicles in Onslow Road, Glasgow overnight from Friday, March 15, to Saturday, March 16, 2024.
