Glasgow train services could be cancelled due to an issue.
ScotRail has said Network Rail is currently carrying out a safety inspection of the track between Glasgow Central and Kilmarnock.
Due to this, the rail firm has said services between the two stations and Carlisle will be altered or cancelled this morning.
It comes after Network Rail said they have been made aware of a 'potential broken rail between Kilmarnock and Stewarton'.
They have said the line is 'currently closed' until they can carry out an inspection.
