An 'avoid the area' warning has been issued as a busy road in Glasgow is set to be closed.
Glasgow City Council has said West George Street between Hope Street and Renfield Street will be shut from 8am on Sunday, March 24 until 6am on Monday, March 25.
The local authority revealed the road would be closed to allow essential carriageway patching works to take place.
During the works, drivers are being urged to 'avoid the area'.
A diversion will be in place for motorists.
