'Avoid' warning as busy Glasgow road sealed off by police (Image: Newsquest)
A busy Glasgow road was sealed off due to a police incident.
Officers closed Dalmarnock Road in both directions near its junction with Dunn Street on Sunday evening.
Glasgow City Council roads department said this was due to a road traffic collision (RTC).
A statement issued at 7.18pm read: "Due to an RTC Dalmarnock Road is closed in both directions near to its junction with Dunn Street.
"Drivers are advised to use an alternate route instead of Dalmarnock Road from Bridgeton Cross to Dunn Street unless for local access."
Police Scotland has been contacted for more information on this incident and we will bring you more as we have it.
