UPDATE HERE.

A man has been arrested following a major incident in Glasgow.

We reported that Harmony Row was closed between Golspie Street and Helen Street in the city's Govan on Tuesday night from around 7pm.

Cops say this was due to a 'disturbance'.

The road reopened at around 10pm and officers revealed that a 32-year-old man had been arrested in connection.

A spokesperson said: "Harmony Row, between Golspie Street and Helen Street, has reopened following a disturbance.

"A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. Thank you for your patience."

No further details on the incident were given, but we have contacted Police Scotland for further comment.

We previously reported that the force urged people to 'avoid' the area on Tuesday, but they assured that there was 'no risk to the wider public'.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were called to assist emergency service partner at 7.12pm on Tuesday, March 26, at Harmony Place, Glasgow.

“Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the area.

“Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”

The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
