A child and teen have been arrested after cops allegedly found an axe, machete and knife during a search.
Officers were out on patrol in Glasgow city centre on the evening of Monday, March 25.
They worked with local officers to detain and search a group of youths in the area.
During this, they say they recovered an axe, machete and knife.
A 12-year-old boy and 17-year-old male youth have been arrested in connection.
A spokesperson for Greater Glasgow Police Division said: "On Monday evening, following a disturbance, officers from #GGDVRU worked with local officers to detain and search a group of youths within Glasgow city centre, recovering an axe, machete and knife.
"Two males, aged 12 and 17 arrested for possession of weapons."
