A man has allegedly been caught with a 'combat knife' on a busy Glasgow street.
Officers say they were conducting a 'proactive stop and search' on Union Street in the city centre on Tuesday, March 26.
During it, they found a man who was allegedly in possession of a combat knife.
The 21-year-old was then arrested.
He will appear in court at a later date.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "On Tuesday evening, officers from the Greater Glasgow Division's Violence Reduction Unit engaged in a proactive stop and search on Union Street, detecting a male who was in possession of a combat knife.
"Male, aged 21, was arrested and will appear in court at later date."
