Police are urging the public to stay away amid an ongoing incident on a busy street.
We reported that Main Street in Lennoxtown is currently shut to all traffic under Police Scotland instructions.
The force has revealed that they have been called out to a disturbance at the scene.
Emergency services are dealing with the incident now and people are being warned to stay away.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.50am on Monday, April 1, 2024, police were called to the Main Street area of Lennoxtown, following a report of a disturbance.
"Emergency services remain at the scene and the road is currently closed.
"The public are asked to avoid the area.”
