A large police presence was spotted on a residential street today.
Officers and multiple cop vehicles descended on Woodlands Crescent in Cambuslang on Tuesday afternoon.
An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times that three police cars with blue lights 'raced' to the area at around 1pm.
The force confirmed that they had been called out after a report of a window being broken at a property on the street.
Once they arrived and checked the scene, it was established that no crime had taken place.
Meanwhile, officers arrested a man in connection with an outstanding and unrelated matter.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.35pm on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, we attended the report of an alleged disturbance at a property on Woodland Crescent, Cambuslang.
"There was no criminality established. One man was arrested in connection with an outstanding matter.”
