Cops have provided an update after a woman was 'attacked' on a Glasgow street.
We reported that there was a large police presence on Barmulloch Road in the city's North on Saturday evening.
It came after a woman was allegedly assaulted.
Detectives have been looking into the incident and they have now revealed that they arrested a 36-year-old man in connection.
He has since been released without charge.
The investigation continues.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of an assault on Barmulloch Road, Barmulloch, Glasgow, around 7.20pm on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
“A 33-year-old woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“A 36-year-old man was arrested in connection and released without charge. Enquiries are ongoing.”
