A person has been rushed to hospital after 999 crews descended on Strathclyde Park.
We previously reported that there was a significant emergency services presence at the busy park on Monday, April 1.
Multiple police and ambulance vehicles were pictured at the scene and officers were combing the area.
The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed that they had been called out shortly before 11am.
An ambulance and trauma team were sent.
They transported a person to Haimyres Hospital following the incident, which is understood to have been medical-related.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 10:46 on Monday April 1 to attend an incident at Strathclyde Country Park.
"We dispatched one ambulance and a trauma team to the scene. One patient was transported to Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride.”
Police Scotland was contacted for comment.
