PART of a busy motorway near Glasgow will be closed this week.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential access gate and wing wall edge protection installation on the M74 northbound and southbound carriageways.
This work will be done between junctions 10 and 11 from Tuesday, April 9 until Friday, April 12 between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm each day.
It aims to benefit road users by improving the safety and condition of the carriageway structures and reducing the need for more maintenance in the future.
The work will be carried out using daytime lane closures, and access for emergency vehicles will remain during the works.
