A MUSIC legend is about to announce a huge festival gig as her last-ever concert.

Glasgow singer Lulu is currently embarking on her final tour and sang to crowds in her hometown on Tuesday for one final time.

She will wrap up at the London Palladium next Wednesday but will soon announce a very exciting final date at Glastonbury Festival.

The 75-year-old from Dennistoun played her first and only gig at the festival nine years ago and will bow out with a huge set in the Field of Avalon.

A source told another daily newspaper: “Lulu is going to be announced as a performer at Glastonbury next week.

"It’s a massive deal for her and she can’t wait to play the Avalon stage.

“When Glasto organiser Emily Eavis got in touch about going down to the farm she couldn’t turn it down.

“It will be an emotional moment for her as it’s the last time she will ever play Glastonbury.

“It was magical for her when she last played on that same stage in 2015.”

It comes after we reported that Lulu was spotted leaving the Malmaison Hotel on Tuesday ahead of her Royal Concert Hall show.

The show is part of a special tour to mark her 75th birthday and is called Champagne for Lulu.

We headed to the gig and were amazed when the singing superstar brought out celebrity guests to join her on stage.
