A MAN has been found injured on a busy street in East Kilbride.
Police say the man was discovered on Maxwellton Avenue in the Calderwood area of the town shortly after 10pm on Wednesday, April 10.
After being found, he was then taken to hospital for treatment.
Following a police investigation, officers established no crime had taken place.
During the incident, residents took to social media to report there was a police car in the area, while part of it was "cordoned off".
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 10.20pm on April 10, a man was found injured on Maxwelltown Avenue, Calderwood.
"He was taken to University Hospital Hairmyres for treatment.
"Enquiries have been carried out and no criminality has been established."
