Braehead shopping centre has teased the expansions of two of its stores.

The Renfrew shopping destination is currently working on makeovers for sportswear retailer JD and jewellery shop Beaverbrooks.

Signs appeared outside the shops indicating that they will soon have bigger units.

A spokesperson for Braehead said “There are a lot of exciting things happening at Braehead. We have welcomed a host of new stores over the last few months - including Italian cosmetics brand, KIKO Milano, most recently, with others due to announce their arrival in the near future.

“A number of our retailers have also been investing in their offer here  – with Holland & Barrett and Ann Summers opening revamped stores in the last few weeks, for example - reflecting confidence in Braehead as a place to do business.

“We have a number of announcements  in the pipeline and look forward to sharing more good news in the coming weeks.”
