Tributes have been paid to a man who died after being fatally stabbed in Glasgow.

We previously reported the 27-year-old sadly passed away after being attacked on Saracen Street in the city's Possilpark.

The incident took place on Saturday, May 18, at around 5pm.

Following the serious assault, tributes have been paid to the victim - with flowers and messages being left at the scene.

In several of the tributes, the man has been named locally as 'Big Brian' or 'Brian', however, police are yet to officially name the man.

One of the kind-hearted messages said: "To Big Brian.

"We are all going to miss you brother.

"Until we meet again.

"Love from all the lads at Eco Deck."

Cops are still on the scene at the incident.

After the brutal attack, police revealed a post-mortem examination is set to be carried out, however, the force is treating the death as suspicious.

Officers have already been conducting enquiries into the incident and established that two men were involved in the attack.

The pair are both described as being white and in their 30s.

One was wearing a light blue top and black shorts, while the other was wearing a white top, black shorts, and black trainers.
