TRNSMT has issued a warning ahead of this year's festival in Glasgow.

Organisers of the event have issued a reminder to those attending it on what IDs will be accepted.

Taking to social media, bosses of the much-loved festival have said passports, full or provisional driving licences, and national proof of age standard scheme cards with a pass hologram will be accepted.

However, no photocopies or expired IDs will be accepted at the summer music festival in the city.

Meanwhile, organisers of the event have also issued a warning on the use of fake IDs.

They said: "We are aware of sites/people selling fake ID - staff are trained and have devices to detect these at the gates."

The festival is set to take place between Friday, July 12 and Sunday, July 14 at Glasgow Green.

Acts performing at the event include Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon, Calvin Harries, The Snuts, Declan McKenna, and many more.
