A well-known Irish bar in Glasgow has scooped a big award.

Kitty O'Shea's - which has a venue in the city centre and the West End - won the Irish Pub of the Year at the Drink Awards Scotland 2024.

The awards aim to celebrate the very best pubs, bars, gastropubs, and retailers from across Scotland.

The winners of event were announced on Monday, May 20, as part of an online campaign.

Other venues in Glasgow that scooped awards include The Piper Whisky Bar, Blue Dog, Grace's Irish Sports Bar, Katie's Bar, Gin71, and many more.

A spokesperson for the event said: “These awards have helped showcase the exceptional talent and creativity that define our vibrant drinks industry. We are thrilled to celebrate the dedication of the bars, pubs & restaurants that continuously raise the bar for gastronomic experiences.
