Glasgow is set to play host to this year's Scottish Rum Festival. 

The popular event, which will be held at SWG3 on September 7, debuted last year and aims to celebrate Scotland's vibrant rum scene.

Scheduled to take place on the first weekend of the Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight, there will be two sessions, with the first running from 12pm to 3.30pm, and the second from 4.30pm to 8pm.

There will be a meet-the-maker experience, a branded Glencairn tasting glass, and samples from each of the rum producers in attendance. 

Although early bird tickets for the festival have already sold out, regular tickets are still available for purchase.
