More than 100 mid-market homes could be built on a vacant land in Glasgow.
A planning application has been submitted for 112 homes at the corner of Cook Street and Tradeston Street on the Southside.
Wheatley Homes is proposing to refurbish the unused land in the "currently undeveloped" Tradeston area.
Documents state: "The preferred scheme at present comprises a taller six-storey block to the Northeast corner of the site with a smaller four-storey block of the South and West.
"This formation splits the construction technologies and achieves a flat type mix in favour of two bedroom properties."

The development would be made up of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes.
10% of these will be suitable for disabled people and wheelchair users.
Papers said: "It also includes limited parking for residents, landscape design proposals, sustainable urban drainage, adequate bike storage and refuse collection provision."
Glasgow City Council is considering the bid and a decision is expected by Wednesday, August 28.
