Two men are due in court after allegedly being found with weapons in a Glasgow home.

We previously reported officers descended on Kinfauns Drive in the city's Drumchapel shortly after 5.30pm on Sunday, May 26.

They received a report that people allegedly had weapons inside a property in the area.

Now, the force has said two men - aged 25 and 28 - have been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.

They are set to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, May 28.

Meanwhile, two other men - aged 42 and 52 - were arrested and released pending further enquiries.

Cops have said there is no risk to the wider public.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 5.40pm on Sunday, May 26, 2024, officers received a report of men in possession of weapons within a property in the Kinfauns Drive area of Glasgow.

"Two men, aged 25 and 28, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

"They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 28 May, 2024.

"Two other men, aged 42 and 52, were arrested and released pending further enquiries.

"There is no risk to the wider public.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
