Two indie rock bands are coming to Glasgow together on a new co-headlining tour.
The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie will visit the city's OVO Hydro for their landmark 20th anniversary Give Up Transatlanticism tour on August 23, 2024.
They will be joined by special guests Teenage Fanclub.
It celebrates two decades since each band's 2003 albums - The Postal Service's Give Up and Death Cab for Cutie's Transatlanticism.
The previous shows were sold out and included back-to-back shows at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden in New York City and Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Benjamin Gibbard, co-founder of both bands, said: "Few musicians have released two culture-shifting records in the span of a single year."
“I know for a fact I will never have a year again like 2003. The Postal Service record came out, Transatlanticism came out. These two records will be on my tombstone, and I’m totally fine with that. I’ve never had a more creatively inspired year."
