A march calling for a 'brighter future' for education in Scotland was held in Glasgow today.
Glasgow City Parents Group held a March For Education in the city centre this afternoon (Monday, June 24).
In pictures, dozens could be seen gathered at the event which started at The Royal Concert Hall on Buchanan Street.
According to the group's website, the rally was being held calling for a 'brighter future in education'.
Parents, carers, unions, school staff, charities, and the wider school community joined to march together as part of the event.
The group are calling for an effective GIRFEC for all children in Scottish education, enhanced teacher recruitment and retention, better inclusion practises for additional support learning, stronger parental engagement nationwide, and increased investment in support services.
