Part of a Glasgow road was shut by police after an alleged attack.
We previously reported that officers had descended on Broomloan Road in the city's Govan on Tuesday.
Images from the scene show police tape along the street while officers stood guard at around 6pm.
The road appeared to be sealed off near where it meets Paisley Road West.
The force confirmed that they had been called out to a report of a serious assault earlier in the day at around 2.40pm.
A 25-year-old man was rushed to hospital, while a 30-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection.
He is due to appear in court at a later date.
