A MAN has been rushed to hospital after being brutally attacked near Glasgow’s Central Station.
Police say they were called to a report of a man being seriously assaulted on Union Street on Wednesday, August 14.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at around 4.45pm.

Following the brutal assault, the man was taken to hospital for treatment.
During the shocking attack, cops sealed off part of the street outside the entrance/exit to the busy railway station.
In pictures captured by the Glasgow Times, two cops could be seen standing guard while an ambulance was parked further down the road.
Meanwhile, blood could be seen on the street next to several items.
The force has confirmed an investigation into the broad daylight incident is underway.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We received a report of a man having been seriously assaulted on Union Street, Glasgow, around 4.45pm on August 14.
“Emergency services attended, and the man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
