A busy Glasgow railway line is currently 'blocked' amid an issue.
Avanti West Coast has said due to a fault on a train between Lockerbie and Motherwell, the line towards Glasgow Central is blocked.
Following the problem, the travel operator has urged customers to 'check their journeys'.

A spokesperson for Avanti said: "Due to a fault on a train between Lockerbie and Motherwell, the line towards Glasgow Central is blocked."
Meanwhile, Network Rail has said a response team is in the area 'ready to assist' if needed.

A spokesperson said: "We've got a response team in the area ready to assist the faulty train if needed.
