A teenager was caught with a knife, drugs and £795 in cash aboard a bus.
Ayaat Qadri, 19, was snared at Glasgow's Buchanan Bus station on August 26 2023.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that two people boarded a bus destined for Edinburgh.
Qadri, of Edinburgh, was already seated and it was noted by the passengers that he had a blade sticking out of his waistband.
Prosecutor Lauren Sangray said: "The security team boarded the bus and took the knife from Qadri.
"He was then removed from the bus."
Police later attended and Qadri told officers: "If someone is going to do me, I need to be prepared."
As he was being handcuffed, a strong smell of cannabis was noted which resulted in a body search.
Officers recovered 12 zip lock bags containing 62 blue tablets known as 2c-b or Nexus.
Also discovered was 2.3 grams of cannabis as well as £795 in mixed notes.
The hearing was told that the value of the tablets was £220 if sold in five tablet quantities.
Qadri later asked officers when he would get his cash back and was told there would be further inquiries.
He then stated: "You know where I got the money."

Qadri pleaded guilty to possession of a knife without a reasonable excuse or lawful authority.
He also admitted being concerned the supply of 2c-b tablets and possession of cannabis.
Pat Campbell, defending, told the court that the offences occurred when there was a "hiatus" in the relationship between Qadri and his parents.
Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month by Sheriff Iain Fleming who granted Qadri bail meantime.
