Glasgow road cops have issued a warning after stopping a 'dangerous' motor over the weekend.
Officers stopped a vehicle in the Saracen area of the city on Saturday, October 26.
After that, the driver of the car was reported for allegedly driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition.
Meanwhile, police have warned road users that cable ties 'are not a suitable' replacement for a two-stage bonnet locking mechanism - which could be seen on the motor officers stopped.

Any guesses why we stopped it?

For the record - cable ties are not a suitable substitute for a 2 stage bonnet locking mechanism. 🙄 pic.twitter.com/tJOEjct6v2
