With Christmas just around the corner and money being tight for many of us over the holidays, we have found the eight best spots in the city you need to see to get you in the festive spirit for free this year.
From The Ivy to Princes Square, the top restaurants and shops have finally donned their biggest and brightest Christmas lights to bring a sparkle to the city centre.
And here are some of our favourites.
The Ivy
This celebrity hotspot - which has been visited by the likes of TV legend Lorraine Kelly - first opened on Buchanan Street in 2019.
The restaurant has been a consistent tour-de-force when it comes to Christmas decorations. From its gorgeous garlands in 2022 to its life-size polar bear in 2023, the eatery has opted for two cheery snowmen this year.
Donned in The Ivy scarves and hats, these iconic statues are the perfect place for that annual Christmas photo.
The City Chambers
Behind the extravagant exterior, Glasgow's City Chambers is packed full of people working away to keep the city running.
But on the outside - during Christmas - it is a riot of festive colour. The building can be seen changing colours with fun holograms which is enough to woo even the biggest of scrooges.
This Chamber tradition may have only started a few years ago, but it is already the perfect addition to the city's tasteful festive displays.
Princes Square
This beloved shopping centre is always a must when checking out the best the city has to offer at Christmas.
From the gorgeously decorated entranceways to the gold and warm lights draped over the building, this will leave you in awe and feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.
Rowan House/Laings
It was love at first sight when we came across Rowan House/Laings lights on Buchanan Street.
The flagship shop - which opened this summer - simply sparkled with its gold lights to the little Christmas trees above the door.
The decorations are the perfect addition to the street and those lights are an absolute knock-out in person.
If you are on a mission to see something new this year, we can't recommend this magical display enough.
Argyle Street Star Tunnel
Argyle Street has become the star of the show this Christmas - literally.
A fantastic new addition to the city's decorations is the star tunnel located in the middle of the busy street.
Standing at 20 feet tall and wide, and 80 feet long, the attraction has impressively been named Europe's largest star tunnel.
Enveloping visitors in a canopy of shimmering lights, the tunnel features an interactive element, with a special activation button that triggers a chasing light sequence, representing Santa's sleigh taking off.
It is a must-see if you're heading into town this Christmas.
Anchor Line
This popular eatery - based on St Vincent Place - has well and truly decked the halls this year with their amazing decorations.
The golds, reds and greens have brought a glorious pop of colour to the street.
La Vita
As always, Glasgow's favourite Italian eatery has come out in style this year.
Located just off George Square, the restaurant brought out its best lights, baubles and ginormous candy canes to get everyone - and their granny - into the Christmas spirit.
It is always a treat to walk past La Vita, and as usual, it is the pinnacle of Queen Street at Christmas time.
Winterfest - George Square and St Enoch
There is no place like the Christmas markets and rides at Winterfest over the festive period.
From food stalls and rides to the gorgeous decorations and lights, this place is truly Glasgow's winter wonderland year after year.
