A woman has died following a two-vehicle crash in East Kilbride.
Police and paramedics raced to the Glen Doll area of the South Lanarkshire town shortly before 6pm on Friday.
Sadly, however, the woman – who was one of the drivers – was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police confirmed no one else had been injured, in what they described as a “medical incident”.
A probe has been launched to establish the full circumstances.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were called around 5.50pm on Friday, November 29 to a report of a two-vehicle crash in the Glen Doll area of East Kilbride.
“Emergency services attended and one driver, a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“No one else was injured and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
