ScotRail has warned passengers to expect significant disruption on services between Glasgow Central and Anderston due to reports of a trespasser on the line.

Trains on this route are currently subject to delays, cancellations, and last-minute alterations as rail staff respond to the incident.

In a statement, ScotRail said: “We have had reports of a trespasser between Glasgow Central and Anderston.

"Services are subject to delay, alteration, and cancellation.”

To help affected passengers reach their destinations, alternative routes are being advised.

Commuters can travel via Glasgow Central to Lanark or Glasgow Central to Newton via Kings Park.

Passengers are encouraged to check live travel updates before setting off and allow extra time for their journey.
