Coach operator Scottish Citylink has significantly increased capacity on some of its busiest routes, just in time for the summer season.
The company’s newly launched summer timetable introduces over 4000 additional seats each week on services between Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen.
This enhancement is made possible through a combination of more frequent journeys and the use of larger vehicles, providing greater convenience and comfort for passengers.

In particular, the M9 route between Glasgow and Aberdeen - also serving Dundee and Perth Broxden - now operates every 30 minutes during the daytime, every day of the week.
And the M92 service between Aberdeen and Edinburgh is benefiting from additional weekend journeys operating Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to provide a half-hourly frequency.

"We’re delighted to be able to introduce even more seats and services between Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Glasgow to make it easier for people to stay connected this summer.”

This expansion comes as Scottish Citylink celebrates its 40th anniversary, with Walsh adding: “It’s another great way to mark our 40th birthday – by doing what we do best: delivering great value, reliable, and high-quality coach services across Scotland.

To commemorate its milestone year, Scottish Citylink is also planning a series of events throughout 2025, aimed at celebrating four decades of service to communities across Scotland.
