A Glasgow jeweller has said they will “continue to shine” following a “disappointing” reported theft.
The incident is said to have taken place at Haroon Jewellers on Albert Drive in Pollokshields shortly before 7pm on Tuesday, August 7.
Following this, the business published CCTV footage on their Facebook page in the hopes of having the item, which is said to be a necklace, returned.
Staff at the jewellery shop stated that the suspect “thought they were in Mission Impossible” but that they were “not Tom Cruise”.

The statement reads: “To the person who came into Haroon Jewellers today and thought they were in Mission Impossible.
“Spoiler, you’re not Tom Cruise. You’re just a thief, and we’ve got clear CCTV of you helping yourself to a necklace that didn’t belong to you.
“If it’s you watching this, just return the necklace before things get even more shiny and serious, aka police involvement.
“Please share this and help us identify this person. Let’s keep local businesses safe.”
