A person has died after being hit by a train on a Glasgow line.
A British Transport Police spokesperson confirmed that officers were called to Easterhouse railway station at around 1pm today, following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
They added: "Paramedics also attended, however, sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the procurator fiscal."

We reported earlier that Network Rail said trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh via Airdire.
Travellers have been warned that disruption is expected until 4pm.
