Santa Claus will be paying a visit to Glasgow later this month, spreading Christmas cheer.
On Thursday, December 18, Santa and his sleigh will be travelling through the streets of Knightswood from 7.45pm to 8.45pm.
He will start near Knightswood Primary School before making his way along streets including Wilverton Road, Balwin Avenue and Pikeman Road before ending his journey at Knightswood Park on Archerhill Road.
A post shared on Facebook about the event read: "We’d love for the whole community to come out, wave, smile, and help spread the jolly Christmas cheer.
"Bring the family, wrap up warm, and listen out for the bells Santa’s on his way."
The news was met with excitement from families in the area.
One person wrote: "This is brilliant. Can't wait."
Another said: "Brilliant, the kids will love it."
A third commented: "Love this."
