UPDATE: BARRY HAS BEEN TRACED

An urgent search has been launched for a missing person as "concerns grow."

Barry Gilmour was last seen at 7am this morning in the Fulbar Street area of Renfrew.

The 49-year-old is described as around 5ft 7in tall, with black hair and a beard.

He has tattoos on his arms and legs.

It is not known what he was last wearing. 

Sergeant Andrew Limond said: “Concerns for Barry are growing and enquiries are ongoing to trace him. 

“We are appealing to anyone who may have seen him, or has any information on where he may be, to contact us.” 

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 0994 of Sunday, 18 January, 2025.
