A man was rushed to hospital after being assaulted on a busy street in the city centre.
Police Scotland confirmed they received reports of an assault on Cathedral Street, Glasgow, at around 8.35pm on Monday, February 2.
Emergency services raced to the scene and a man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Enquiries remain ongoing into the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.35pm on Monday, February 2, 2026, we received a report of a man being assaulted on Cathedral Street, Glasgow.
