Trains on a busy line are facing disruption this afternoon following a power supply failure.
The issue is affecting services between Whifflet and Motherwell due to a failure of the electricity supply, with trains running through these stations subject to cancellation, delay or revision.
So far, the 15:01 Whifflet to Dalmuir service has been cancelled, along with the 15:31 Motherwell to Dalmuir train. The 15:36 Glasgow Central to Lanark service has also been cancelled as a result of the fault.
