Transport cops have released images of a man they are keen to speak to following an incident that happened on a Glasgow train last month.

British Transport Police (BTP) believe the man may have information that could assist their investigation.

The incident took place around 9.30pm on March 21, on a service travelling between Motherwell and Glasgow High Street.

The man is described as white, in his 40s or 50s, around 6ft tall, slim, and bald.

He was wearing a black hooded jacket and black trousers, and has a large tattoo on the back of his right hand.

Investigators are appealing for the man, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to text BTP on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 809 of March 21.

Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
