A man is due in court today following an alleged incident which left another man in hospital.
Residents in Glasgow's Knightswood area awoke to a major police presence yesterday after a 25-year-old man was seriously injured during an alleged late-night disturbance.

Emergency services attended and the injured man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 36-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.40pm on Saturday, 2 May, 2026, we received a report of a disturbance on Alderman Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended, and a 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to what are described as serious injuries.
“A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 4 May, 2026.”
