Over 20 streets around Hampden Park are set for weeks of disruption as Take That, Metallica and Calvin Harris bring a trio of blockbuster gigs to Glasgow this summer.

Take That will kick things off when their Circus Live tour rolls into the national stadium for two shows on Friday June 12 and Saturday June 13, with support from The Script and Belinda Carlisle.

The concerts revive the band’s 2009 Circus tour, with the original set list, new additions and full-scale staging and visuals.

Metallica follow on Thursday, June 25 with their M72 World Tour.

It is the metal giants’ first Glasgow show since 2017 and part of a 16‑date European and UK run, with tickets ranging from around £67.50 to £300 depending on seat and package.

Doors are expected to open from 5pm, with no under‑14s allowed on the pitch, no under‑5s in seated areas and all under‑16s required to be accompanied by an adult.

Homegrown superstar Calvin Harris will round off the run with two “massive summer stadium shows” on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2.

Doors open from 5pm, with both standing and seated tickets available and a general 16+ age restriction across the stadium.

To manage crowds and keep concert‑goers and residents safe, Glasgow City Council will impose temporary traffic restrictions on key roads around Hampden.

These apply to all vehicles except emergency services responding to incidents or vehicles specifically authorised by the council’s events team.
