Police have provided an update after emergency services rushed to a Glasgow railway line this morning.
Crews responded to the tracks between Springburn and Robroyston stations at around 7.45am following reports of a person being struck by a train.
British Transport Police (BTP) say that officers attended along with paramedics.
A person was then taken to hospital with “life-changing” injuries.
The force says the incident is not being treated as suspicious.

A BTP spokesperson said: “We were called to an area of the line in Springburn at around 7.45am this morning (June 8) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Officers attended along with paramedics, and a person was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
